Andhra Bank declines on reporting 54% fall in Q1 net profit.
Andhra Bank’s net profit for the quarter declined by 53.74% at Rs 107.00 crore as compared to Rs 231.28 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013. However, the bank’s total income has increased by 9.14% to Rs 4205.06 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 3854.16 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The bank’s gross NPA for the April-June quarter of the current fiscal stood at 5.98%, as compared to 4.73% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, bank’s Net NPA stood at 3.89% in Q1FY15.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.14% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.29% and 16.56% respectively.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 110.00 on 05-Jun-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 47.30 on 03-Sep-2013.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 85.50 and Rs. 78.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4713.97 crore.
The scrip opened at Rs. 81.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 81.70 and Rs. 78.70 respectively. So far 330863 shares were traded on the counter.
Andhra Bank is currently trading at Rs. 81.00, down by 1.50 points or 1.82% from its previous closing of Rs. 82.50 on the BSE.
