Kalpataru Power Transmission is one of the largest and fastest growing specialized EPC companies in India engaged in power transmission and distribution, oil and gas pipeline, infrastructure development, civil contracting and warehousing and logistics business with a strong international presence in power transmission and distribution.
Kalpataru Power Transmission’s net profit has surged 20.74% at Rs 41.86 crore as compared to Rs 34.67 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013. The company’s total income from operations has increased by 19.53% to Rs 1063.38 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 889.60 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.45% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 32.16% and 8.39% respectively.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 197.65 on 02-Jul-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 56.00 on 29-Aug-2013.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 173.45 and Rs. 158.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2599.62 crore.
The scrip opened at Rs. 164.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 173.45 and Rs. 163.00 respectively. So far 58370 shares were traded on the counter.
Kalpataru Power Transmission is currently trading at Rs. 170.70, up by 10.10 points or 6.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 160.60 on the BSE.
