Tree House Education soars on reporting 31% rise in Q1 net profit

   

      Tree House, a pre-school establishment offering early education for children in the age group of 18 months to 6 years today has 490 centers across 63 cities in India.
     Tree House Education & Accessories’ net profit has surged by 30.57% at Rs 16.06 crore as compared to Rs 12.30 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013. Its total income from operations has increased by 31.91% to Rs 53.91 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 40.87 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
     The promoters holding in the company stood at 32.29% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.10% and 52.61% respectively.
     The BSE group 'B ' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 408.75 on 04-Jul-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 214.20 on 07-Mar-2014.
     Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 396.45 and Rs. 345.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1458.68 crore.
     The scrip opened at Rs. 387.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 396.45 and Rs. 370.50 respectively. So far 34378 shares were traded on the counter.
     Tree House Education & Accessories is currently trading at Rs. 384.70, up by 9.15 points or 2.44% from its previous closing of Rs. 375.55 on the BSE.
